This was to basic room that was clean and pleasant at a very reasonable price. I stayed three nights. When I came back to the room in the evenings the house keeping was done perfectly. I just wish there had been a little coffee maker in the room. That cost them a star. Otherwise it's just what I wanted from a Red Roof Room.
I enjoy this location. It's not a luxury hotel but for it's price, location and cleanliness I always book if I need a quick stay. The staff is polite and they're pet friendly. The rooms are a little up to date on the decor nothing fancy but the room doesn't feel too grimy or grungy. FYI: (Not at all like the Jackson/Ridgeland location) THIS ONE IS BETTER

I read through the reviews, let me say this, if you want 5 star, then pay a 5 star price! Period! I stayed here 2 nights. I stay in hotels across America more than most! This place was definitely a good value for the price paid. Could this or that be better? Sure! But was it a fair price for a good place to lay your head for one night? Yes! Was it on the French Riviera next to all the yacht clubs? No! Did it have safety and was it adequately peaceful? Yes! There's quite a few choices one can make when they visit Starkville-University, but if you want to save your pocketbook and your ego won't take a hit, this was a great stay!
Clean room and bathroom. piping hot shower, ice cold AC, clean towels, ample soap and shampoo, comfortable bed. Courteous and prompt service at the front desk, where my room key and paperwork were ready for me when I arrived. Good basic accommodation.

We were looking for an inexpensive room and found this Inn. We thought it was great for the price. Our room was clean and a little surprisingly quiet. It does seem like it could be a bit noisy depending on your room, we were on the far side of the hotel. We stopped in and had some pizza at the Dark Horse Tavern which was nice to have so close.
We were welcomed by the lovely MADHU girl; she was very kind, enthusiastic, and cheerful. The accommodation was clean and quiet. We had to stay here for one night because of some business, but we were very comfortable... Thank you for everything being so wonderful here
